About
Jacqueline is a freelance writer on neonatal and maternal health and equity in access to parenting interventions that promote attachment and human milk feeding in the NICU. She has an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering and a master’s in public health epidemiology. She is a current master’s student in the Science Writing program at Johns Hopkins University.
Work
Jacqueline's most recent work lives at the intersection of public health, and empowered parenting in preterm birth, the NICU, and beyond. She is a two-time NICU parent and the founder and original content creator at Empowered NICU Parenting, a resource platform for parents and doulas. Jacqueline is a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, a former birth doula, childbirth educator, and peer support group facilitator trained in perinatal mood disorders and social support.
